The Fat Squirrels went to Funan DigitalLife Mall for some western fare! We decided to pop in at O'Coffee Club because it wasn't crowded, and we were getting pretty hungry.
Unfortunately, while we were satisfied with the food, we weren't too pleased with the long wait time (about 20 mins for the roulade), because it was past 8pm, and there were only two other tables occupied, apart from the two of us. We can only guess that the food we ordered needed a longer time to prepare.

They still had a festive menu, so naturally, we ordered from the festive menu! The regular menu will be available for a much longer time anyway. Check out their festive menu below!
We ordered the Lycee Jazz. Check out Yan Yan, snapping photos for our blog and instagram account once the food arrives. Hahaha.

The Lychee Jazz (seen above) was pretty tasty, if not mild, with just a hint of lychee. The scoop of vanilla ice cream gave this a much needed dose of sweetness, and we love how well the milky ice cream tasted with the fizz of the soda. I can't say this was a super awesome drink, but it was tasty enough.
Update: I remember seeing it as "Lychee Jazz" when I ordered, but it's Lychee Soda with Vanilla Ice Cream" on the online menu. So... whichever.^^

Here's our main courses!
The Slipper Lobster Linguine (above) was excellent. As you can see, there's quite a few sizable chunks of lobster meat. Given the price, we weren't expecting much.
Though we loved the fairly strong taste of herbs, garlic and tomato sauce, there was just too much linguine, and the taste got a little jelat (i.e. we got a little tired of the taste due to the large portion given). #notcomplaining
Available at selected outlets only, it's no wonder why this is one of their signature dishes!

Our second main course was the Turkey Roulade (above).
I went to look up "roulade" lol. It's just meat (or any dish, actually) that's rolled up.
Made with turkey and mushroom, this roulade was tender and flavourful, though a tad dry. But that's why the gravy is there, I suppose! Sweet cranberry compote went surprisingly well with the savoury roulade. I had to google "compote" too. LOL. Basically, it's made from fruits boiled in sugar syrup.
Came with a side of buttered baby carrots, asparagus and mashed potatoes, which I love, but I must say, the serving is measly.

I felt this picture (above) wasn't impressive enough, so I took another picture (below) that more accurately shows how tall this slice of cake is!
For dessert (above), we ordered the signature dish- Muddy Mud Pie! The cappucino and chocolate ice cream balanced each other out well, and was on a deliciously crumbly cookies and cream base. We loved how the cookie crumbs and chocolate fudge gave it an extra dose of sweetness!
